EB Games does not guarantee repair on devices damaged through usage outside of normal practices. We can only accept consoles with original manufacturer or EB Games void warranty seal intact. EB Games can also only accept console models we currently trade and are advertised as models we repair.
Our team of professional technicians have many years’ experience repairing consoles and devices with an extremely high recovery rate. When EB Games diagnose a problem and have a repair solution, we will execute that repair immediately. There will be no further approval sought from the customer. We rigorously test all replacement parts and will guarantee all repaired consoles for 3 months from date of pick up, covering the initial fault and repair only. If EB Games replaces a part, then unless otherwise agreed, ownership of the replaced part will pass to EB Games as its property, and the replacement part will become customer property. Subsequent failures after a successful repair due to separate defects, or customer neglect (e.g. liquid damage, bug infestation, physical damage and the like), are not covered by our 3 month repair warranty.
At EB, we understand that game saves and personal content are extremely valuable so rest assured that every effort to retain stored data will be made. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee the retention of all data, particularly when the fault is with the hard drive itself. For that reason, EB Games is not responsible for any loss of information and data stored on the console or HDD.
If any product should be damaged or lost while in EB Games’ custody, to the extent permitted by law, EB Games’ liability will be limited to the cost of repair or replacement of the affected product.
In the unlikely event your broken product cannot be repaired, you will be offered a full refund of the repair fee (or paid deposit) and the return of your irreparable product. Our aim is to have your console back to you between 7 and 21 days, depending on where in the country you live. Once your console has returned to store and you have been successfully notified of this, you are expected to pick up your console within 14 days. If you are unable to do so, you must make arrangements for pick up with the store, so please ensure contact details are correct so we can continually try. If your console is not picked up or arrangements made within 90 days of initial advice, we will try one last time to contact you and then due to space restraints in stores, it will be deemed that you have surrendered your console.
